Physical Therapy

  • Prenatal Physical Therapy

A specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on the unique musculoskeletal and physical challenges that women may experience during their pregnancy. It is designed to promote overall well-being throughout the different stages of pregnancy, reduce pain, prepare your body for labor and improve your postpartum recovery.

Pregnancy places significant stress on a woman's body, leading to various physical discomforts and changes. Prenatal physical therapy aims to address issues such as lower back pain, neck pain, pelvic girdle pain, SI joint pain, hip pain, postural changes, and urinary incontinence.

  • Postpartum Physical Therapy

Postpartum physical therapy is of paramount importance for new mothers as it addresses the unique physical challenges and recovery needs that arise after childbirth. It offers a range of benefits to support a woman's postpartum health and well-being, as well as her overall quality of life. It is truly never too late to start to feel like yourself again.

Some of the postpartum conditions treated include: diastasis recti, urinary incontinence, SI joint pain, C-section scar management, perineal scar management, safe return to exercise, and painful intercourse.

  • Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Combining my speciality in orthopedics alongside my expertise in women’s health allows me to treat the whole body from a unique perspective. Common orthopedic conditions treated include: back, neck and hip pain, joint stiffness and pain, strains, sprains, fractures, overuse injuries, and pelvic girdle pain.
